Here's my story :
When I helped move my parent into an assisted living facility, I needed to sell my parent's home in Colorado Springs. Not living there, I asked a neighbor for a recommendation of a realtor with expertise of the neighborhood (Villa Loma). He enthusiastically recommended Kristan.
I contacted her and set up an introductory meeting. She arrived on time and very well prepared - with a list of recent comps for the neighborhood. She was very knowledgeable of the area and recently sold homes. My parent's home was a challenge in that it was older - 1970's - and in rough shape due to 20 years of deferred maintenance. After assessing the home, she came up with pricing and provided justifications for the price point. A few weeks later, the house went on the market. Kristan set up an open house for the first weekend. Because of her marketing on social media, the turnout of interested buyers was high. That same weekend on Sunday, Kristan presented 13 offers to me. She ranked the offers taking price, loan/cash, closing date, etc. into account.
